Studio History
The Art of Dance was started in 2004. We quickly grew and had our first expansion in the summer of 2006. In the Summer of 2012, we had our second expansion giving us 3 dance rooms, a dance space the size of a stage, separate waiting rooms for our parents and students, 2 dressing rooms, 5 bathrooms, lockers for our Intensive Team members and staff, homework station for our dancers, video monitors to watch your child’s classes without class interruption! And don’t forget our outdoor lounge!
Then in April 2015 we purchased a 14,000+ square foot building to meet the needs of all our clients. We officially open at our new facility August 29, 2015 with 6 dance rooms, a large parent lounge/viewing area, a separate student lounge with refrigerator and microwave, a party room for birthdays and special events, 2 music rooms offering Piano, Voice & Guitar. Additionally, we opened the TAOD Boutique in 2017 right inside our facility to make purchasing your dancewear needs fun and convenient.
