Dress Code and Shoe Requirements
We feel a dress code is very important, as it creates a better dance environment; therefore, the dress code will be enforced. Please only buy your shoes from the TAOD Boutique. Do not buy them at other dance apparel stores, retail stores, such Walmart or Target. The shoes below can ONLY be purchased at the TAOD Boutique and are the ONLY shoes that will be allowed in recitals.
Ballet- Funkarinas, Tutu Tots Combo & All Ballet Classes
For Twinkle Tot Dancers: Girls can wear any color leotard with pink or tan tights (tutus & skirts are always allowed) and Revolution Classic Pink Stretch Ballet Shoes. Hair needs to be pulled back in a neat ponytail. Boys can wear black pants, white t-shirt and Revolution Black Stretch Ballet Shoes.
For Shining Stars, Dazzling Dancers, Core Program & Intensive Team Dancers: Girls must wear a black leotard, pink tights and Revolution Classic Pink Stretch Ballet Shoes. Hair must be pulled back in a neat bun. Boys can wear black pants, white t-shirt and Revolution Black Stretch Ballet Shoes.
Tap- Tutu Tots Combo & All Tap Classes
For Twinkle Tot Dancers: Girls can wear any color leotard with pink or tan tights (tutus & skirts are always allowed) and Revolution White Slip On Student Tap Shoes. Hair needs to be pulled back in a neat ponytail. Boys can wear black pants, white t-shirt and black ballet tap shoes.
For Shining Stars, Dazzling Dancers Intensive Team Dancers (Mini Stars & Rising Stars): Girls must wear any a black leotard, pink or tan tights and Revolution Tan M.J. Slip On U-Shell Tap Shoes. Hair must be pulled back in a neat ponytail or bun. Boys can wear black pants, white t-shirt and Revolution Black Premium Full-Sole Tap Shoes.
For Core Program & Intensive Team Dancers (Power, Power Plus, Master, JR. Elite & Elite): Girls must wear any a black leotard, tan tights and Revolution Black Premium Full-Sole Tap Shoes. Hair must be pulled back in a neat ponytail or bun. Boys can wear black pants, white t-shirt and Revolution Black Premium Full-Sole Tap Shoes.
Hip Hop- Bitty Boppers & All Hip Hop Classes
For Twinkle Tot Dancers: Girls can wear any color leotard with pink or tan tights (tutus & skirts are always allowed) and Revolution Classic High Top Sneaker. Hair needs to be pulled back in a neat ponytail. Boys can wear black pants, white t-shirt and Revolution Classic High Top Sneaker.
For Shining Stars, Dazzling Dancers, Core Program: Girls can wear any a black leotard, pink or tan tights and Revolution Classic High Top Sneaker. Hair must be pulled back in a neat ponytail or bun. Pants, booty shorts, tank tops and t-shirts are allowed. Boys can wear black pants, white
t-shirt and all black shoes.
Jazz- All Jazz Classes
For Shining Stars, Dazzling Dancers & Core Program: Girls must wear any a black leotard, pink or tan tights and Revolution Dark Tan Stretch Slip-On Jazz Shoes. Hair must be pulled back in a neat ponytail or bun, booty shorts are allowed. Boys can wear black pants, white t-shirt and Revolution Black Stretch Slip-On Jazz Shoes.
Lyrical- All Lyrical Classes
For Dazzling Dancers & Core Program: Girls must wear a black leotard, tan tights and Revolution Canvas Half Sole Turners (shoes). Hair must be pulled back in a neat ponytail or bun. Boys can wear black pants, white t-shirt and Revolution Nude Sole Shield Foot Undies.
